You do not need a bag, but I would highly recommend it. Anytime your board it not in your hands, it will not be handled like you want it to. A Snowboard Bag is also nice to have because it can usually hold all of your gear as well. Bags make traveling a lot easier. A snowboard bag will also give you the option to lock your snowboard and personal items in it. This may keep stick fingers away from your things. Ride hard and ride safe!!!
